The Voynich Manuscript is a handwritten book full of unknown writing and strange drawings of plants, stars and human figures. Carbon dating places its pages in the early 1400s. It's named after the book dealer who bought it in 1912 and is now held at Yale University. Linguists, codebreakers and computer scientists have all tried to decode it, and none have convinced everyone. Is it a lost language, a clever code or a very old hoax?
