Privacy Policy

• Account details — your email address, name and password. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them.
• Profile — username, display name, bio and profile photo, if you add them.
• What you post — stamps, posters, comments, poll questions and tags.
• Activity — claps, saves, poll votes, follows, and which posters you open. We use this to show your notifications and to rank your For You and Trending feeds.
• Messages to us — feedback, issue reports and content removal requests, including any contact details you put in them.

• To run your account and show what you post to other people.
• To personalise your feed: we build a summary of the titles, genres, stamp types and people you engage with, and use it to order stamps.
• To send the notifications you see in the app and account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password resets.
• To keep the service safe, handle reports and removal requests, and fix problems.

Public: your profile (username, display name, bio, photo), your stamps, posters and comments, who you follow and who follows you, and which stamps you clapped for. Public pages can appear in search engines and link previews.

Private: your email address, the stamps and posters you save to Framed, which option you chose in a poll (only the totals are shown), your viewing activity and your messages to us.

We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t show ads. We share data only with:

• Service providers that host the app for us — Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) and our web hosting provider. They process data only to provide their service.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect people’s safety.

These providers may store data in countries other than yours, with safeguards required by law.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in, and your browser’s local storage to remember your light or dark theme. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own site.

We keep your information while your account is open. When content is removed at your request, it is taken off the service. When your account is deleted, we delete your profile and content, except where we must keep something for legal reasons or to deal with abuse. Reports and removal requests are kept as long as needed to handle them and keep a record.

• Edit your name, bio and photo any time in Edit profile.
• Delete your own stamps and comments from their menus, or your whole account from Delete account in Settings.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or anything you can’t do yourself by emailing [email protected] from the address you signed up with.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to it is restricted by account-level rules in our database. No service is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password.

Frameshard is not meant for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us at [email protected] and we’ll delete it.

If we change how we handle your information in a significant way, we’ll let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top shows the latest version.
